Rachel Parker

Rachel is a London based artist.  Educated at Cambridge University, her early career spanned commercial property and finance.  Her art career began when she trained at Heatherley School of Fine Art where she graduated with a Diploma in Portraiture.   

Over the years she has become a versatile painter, her current body of work is of mountain landscapes.  She is inspired by their majesty and mystery and strives to capture their strength and serenity.  Using an abundance of colour to depict shape and form she applies oil paint with a palette knife aiming to describe the familiar through the language of painting.   

Rachel Parker is Vice-president of the Society of Women Artists and exhibits annually at The Mall Galleries as well as participating in other major exhibitions in London and Nationally.  Her works can be found in private collections both in the UK and overseas.
