Tim Pomeroy

Tim Pomeroy lives on the remote Isle of Arran, the largest island in the Firth of Clyde, surrounded by the sea.   His inspiration comes from the stimulus that he gets from the immensity and perpetual motion of the tides, the wind, the weather.  His studio garden stretches down to the water's edger, an idyllic setting but also the place, surrounded by the elements where he is constantly inspired to make his supremely beautiful sculptural works of art.   Tim works in a variety of stone, Carrara Marble, Granite, Cumbrian Slate, Baycliffe Limestone, his skilfull carving and great imagination turn each stone into a remarkable sculpture.

We are delighted to be exhibiting Tim Pomeroy's beautiful 'Black King' 2021 made from black granite.
